Overwrapping for cosmetics and perfumes

A clean, transparent finish that complements the presentation of your packaging. Overwrapping, known in Italian as cellophanatura, folds film around the carton and seals it with the characteristic envelope-style end folds. It is particularly suited to regular, box-shaped packs.

Cosmetics, fragrances and other applications

We overwrap cartons for cosmetics, makeup, perfumes and premium products. Suitable applications also include pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food and promotional packs, assessed according to their shape and materials.

Film and folded seals

We use transparent multilayer and coated films. Materials with specific sustainability or compostability characteristics can be assessed on request against the requirements of the product and order.

Automatic and semi-automatic operations

Our automatic and semi-automatic lines allow us to handle different order volumes, standard formats, special jobs and oversized products. Each project is organised around the pack dimensions, required finish and agreed schedule.

Integrated packing and visual checks

Overwrapping can be combined with batch coding, cartoning, labelling, manual packing and visual quality checks. Coordinating these stages at one site reduces transfers between operations.

Overwrapping or shrink wrapping?

Overwrapping creates folded film seals around a regular carton. Shrink wrapping uses heat to fit film around an individual item or multipack. We can assess the appropriate process for your packaging.
